Citizen Campanola 110 Perpetual Calendar Limited Edition 6702-T013112
Created as one of Citizen's high complication Campanola models, the Campanola 110 Perpetual Calendar combines an exceptionally intricate astronomical inspired dial with Japanese quartz watchmaking and an elaborately finished stainless steel case. This limited edition example is individually numbered 090 of 100, making it one of only one hundred pieces produced in this configuration.
The black dial is dominated by a dramatic concentric astronomical display, surrounded by a gold tone calendar scale and contrasting Roman numeral hour track. Rather than presenting its complications through a conventional arrangement of simple subdials, the Campanola uses the entire dial as an integrated calendar display. Day, date, month, leap year cycle, 24 hour indication, and perpetual calendar information are incorporated into the design, creating a watch that is as visually distinctive as it is technically unusual.
Powering the watch is Citizen's Caliber 6702 quartz movement, a specialized high complication caliber developed for the Campanola collection. When correctly set, the perpetual calendar automatically accounts for varying month lengths and leap years, greatly reducing the need for manual calendar correction. The dial also incorporates a dedicated 24 hour display alongside its extensive calendar indications. The reference is documented with the Citizen 6702 quartz movement and perpetual calendar functionality.
The polished stainless steel case measures approximately 43.5mm across and features the sculpted, highly polished architecture characteristic of early Campanola watches. A domed anti reflective sapphire crystal provides a clear view of the elaborate dial, while multiple recessed case pushers allow adjustment of the various calendar indications.
This example is fitted with a black crocodile pattern leather strap and signed Campanola deployant clasp. It presents in good pre owned condition with only light to minimal wear consistent with careful handling and storage. The watch is offered without its original box, papers, or additional accessories.
