Omega Pocket Watch Conversion Franck Muller Style

$395.00

A distinctive vintage inspired conversion, this Omega pocket watch based wristwatch pairs a large tonneau shaped case with bold numerals and classic manual wind mechanical operation. The result is a dramatic wristwatch with clear pocket watch origins and styling reminiscent of early Franck Muller designs.

The dial is signed Omega and features oversized stylized Arabic numerals, central hour and minute hands, and a subsidiary seconds display. The elongated tonneau shaped case gives the watch a strong wrist presence while preserving the visual character of the original pocket watch movement and dial.

Inside is an unmarked Omega pocket watch movement with manual winding. The exact movement caliber has not been identified and is therefore represented conservatively as an unmarked Omega pocket watch movement.

As a conversion watch, the current wristwatch configuration was assembled after the original pocket watch components were produced and should not be interpreted as a factory Omega wristwatch reference. The case, strap, and overall layout are later components selected to create the present wristwatch configuration.

This example is offered in good vintage condition with age appropriate wear. Two more noticeable scratches are present on the caseback, while the remainder of the case shows lighter cosmetic wear consistent with previous use and storage.

Each watch is individually inspected by Reno Watchworks prior to sale to verify mechanical operation and overall presentation.
